Is your estate agent’s English not good enough? Do you want to be sure that you understand everything at the notarial deed and on the day of the house transfer? If you buy or sell your home through us, you will automatically receive guidance in your own language and culture. But if you sell or buy your property through another (local) estate agent, then you might be looking for an interpreter or guidance on the day of the house transfer.

Interpreter translator and companion at house transfer is useful because:

  • The description of the house and the plot in the deed of purchase must 100% correspond to what you have seen and bought, have this checked! (See also: our purchasing assistance service);
  • The notary is not responsible for translation. The deed always states that the choice of translator is yours. This means that the notary is not responsible for the quality of the translation;
  • Many notaries and estate agents do not speak English. At the property transfer it is important that you understand everything in the contract of sale (escritura) before you sign.
